This is the all-new Renault Clio the fifth generation of Renault’s cheekily styled small car. Here are the top 10 things you need to know about it.
1.Styling
The Renault Clio is bold grill and c-shaped daytime running lights make it look like a Magan that has shrunk in the wash ironically. One of its most distinctive features is the hidden rear door handles that make it look like a sporty three-door. Even though it’s a practical five-door but who was the battle for small car chic.
2. Trim
Once your Renault Clio to view all shows and no go what do you want the RS line trim? Then it makes the Clio look like a punchy Renault Sport version. Thanks to an aggressive from bumper honeycomb grille, 17-inch alloy wheels and a rear bumper that looks like a functioning diffuser but of course it’s not it’s just fake.
3. Infotainment
The Clio is available with an impressive-looking infotainment screen. It’s nine inches portrait-style display is the biggest you’ll find on any Renault. Though it is slightly smaller and the size of the screen you can get with an Audi a1 like the posh a1. Though you can also have the clear with a multifunctional digital instrument binnacle. So basically now I loved ours but digital ones instead.
4. Hybrid
You’ll eventually be able to have the new Renault Clio as a plug-in hybrid. It’s tipped to have an all-electric range of more than 30 miles which is 10 times that what you’ll get from a Toyota Yaris hybrid. Of course, it is exempt from paying emissions tolls such as the London congestion charge.
5. Quality
You’ll choose a nuclear over a sturdy Volkswagen Polo and it’s making bold claims about interior quality between courage’ to make their leap according to Renault. The dashboard center console and doors all feature expensive feeling soft-touch plastics.
6. Price
The new Clio is expected to cost from around 14,000 pounds for a basic model with a 5-speed manual gearbox. A top-of-the-range diesel with a 6-speed automatic will cost more than 20 grand.
7. Seats
This little RINO’s friend seats have been designed to be very comfortable with a long base enveloping shape and easy to reach controls. Their softbacks are kinda on your rear passenger’s knees. The thin headrests also give people in the back a better view out at the front.
8. Lighting
Even basic versions of the Clio come with LED headlights as standard. Their bright beam gives you better visibility on the road at night. It also makes you easy to spot for the road users. LEDs are also available on the inside giving you a choice of eight ambient lighting colors.
9. Boot
This little French car boot is actually class-leading with 391 liters FYI that’s more space than you get with a Volkswagen Golf. Including a training front of the gear stick with two had the USB plugs they can charge your mobile devices.
10. Paint
The new Renault Clio is available with a special paint finish called Valencia orange. According to the manufacturer it offers unprecedented dip.
